Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 6, 1928, Andy Warhol first began to draw in bed when he was diagnosed Sydenham's chorea in the third grade, alongside with his mother's drawing classes.His drawing and paintings mainly consisted of "blotted ink" drawings or monoprints. Warhol also turned to Pop art, which became famous in the 1960's, and was later known as the "Pope of Pop".
