It is quite unbelievable the monster some people can turn into for so many selfish reasons. An investigation was brought to Jackie McConnell's attention, alongside several of his employees who were caught on tape beating the horses with wooden sticks, shocking them with electric cattle prods, and "soring" (applying caustic chemicals to the ankles of the horses).
To make it even worse, McConnell refused to apologize, and admitting he wasn't sorry and he did nothing wrong.
Truly, humans are the only ones who deserve to suffer.
