One cannot consider being a friend later, or telling the truth when time is "right." We must listen to the voice within that is telling us to act now, to act correctly and morally. We don't have the luxury of pausing the minutes in the day to even consider to commence behaving like civil individuals. As humans, we have the power to overcome those obstacles that tame us, that stop us from acting benevolently. Those obstacles may be our own conscience. Although there isn't much difference between humans and other living creatures, we have more responsibilities. We have the responsibility to act on time, and correctly. In doing so, we benefit not only ourselves, but the people around us.
