In every occasion, doing what is right is the right thing to do. It doesn't make any sense doing what is right and being the wrong thing to do or doing what is wrong being the right thing to do. It doesn't, right? So, yes. Choosing the right is always the right thing to do. It does seem a bit cheesy and only sounds cliche, but this is correct. It doesn't make too much effort into doing benevolent deeds.
