RE: Man Returns Stolen Cash to Sears 60 Years Later

An elderly man in Seattle, Washington returns the money he stole sixty years ago. He addressed an envelope to Sears manager with a hundred dollar bill and a note explaining why. Manager Gary Lorentson believes his conscience "probably has been bothering him for the last sixty years".
It is quite a noble thing to do; he gave back what he stole to clear his mind and do the best thing he could possibly have done. Logically, if he hadn't done that, he would have never had to return the money and live in misery for sixty years. But he did, and unlike many others, corrected his deeds.
